Sebuah emulator di PC, dikenali sebagai SharpEmu, sudah boleh mula boot beberapa game PS5.
Emulator ini belum boleh boot game-game AAA terkenal. Buat masa ini, ia hanya boleh boot beberapa game kecil 2D platformer seperti Dreaming Sarah, Silent Hill: The Short Message dan Poppy Playtime Chapter 1.
Menurut laporan, pasukan emulator tersebut sedang mencuba Demon’s Souls Remake.
